Ivy Lily Crafts -blog. Thank you so much! Liebster Award is meant to bring more publicity to tiny and/or new blogs. It should be passed forward from blogger to blogger.

I'm naming only 9 as many of the snail mail blogs on my list have already received this award.

And here are my answers to the questions made by Katri:
1. Your favorite craft item?
I use tapes and stickers the most, rubber stamps at times, too.
2. Your latest DIY-project?
Oops, I think it was the
mailbox for our wedding.
3. Which skill would you like to learn?
I'd love to be able to speak fluent Italian/Japanese/Chinese/Hungarian/Arabic... This fall I already overcame the fears towards knitting (thanks to school for that) and learnt to knit socks. In the future I'd love to know how to knit patterns.
4. How do you relax?
I take a big cup of coffee, put some music on the background (lately it's been Oreja de Van Gogh or Christmas carols) and accompany them with either a good book, a pile of postcards to be written or a letter that waits for a reply.
5. What do you dream about?
Fundamentally, about healthy and good life. Some other dreams are dreams of a yard of my/us own with some berry bushes, to have a job that fits my education and to have a functional storage system for all my almost 5000 postcards...
6. Why did you start your blog?
I started my first blog in 2003 and have not been able to let it go since then. Along the years I have had all kinds of blogs, and the idea of a snail mail blog felt natural - why not? The best thing about a hobby related blog is the fact that they're (mostly) about things, not about people (aka the writer).
7.The best comment you've received in your blog?
I really can't tell - after all, there are so few comments left, that I do enjoy reading all of them greatly.
8. Your best blog post?
I've enjoyed writing all kind of guidance posts (and do hope that they've been useful to random readers, too!). Besides them, I really liked writing the
post about combining Russian studies and postacards.
9. Is it your most read post, too?
No, the most read post is the one
where I introduced the newest cards to the Greetings from... -series published by a Polish webstore.
10. What would you like to improve in your blog?
Photos... I'm not 100 % satiesfied with them. Especially during the winter it's hard to take proper photos as the daylight comes and goes while I'm at work. On the other hand this is supposed to be a nice little hobby, so I don't want to spend an insane number of working hours on this.
11. What kind of blogs do you follow?
Many kinds; the snail mail blogs you can find in my blogroll. At times I do read a couple of lifestyle and book blogs, and even some diary-like ones, too.

Tässä omat vastaukseni Katrin esittämiin kysymyksiin:
1. Suosikki askartelu-/taidetarvikkeesi?
Eniten tulee käytettyä teippejä ja tarroja, myös leimasimia jonkin verran.
2. Viimeisin tee-se-itse -projektisi?
Kääk, taitaapa olla
häidemme vieraskirja/korttilaatikko.
3. Minkä taidon haluaisit oppia?
Haluisin puhua sujuvaa italiaa/japania/kiinaa/unkaria/arabiaa... Syksyllä jo voitin peruskouluaikaiset traumani ja opettelin neulomaan sukat; seuraava etappi jossain hamassa tulevaisuudessa olisi opetella kirjoneulomaan.
4. Miten rentoudut?
Iso kuppi kahvia, taustalle musiikkia (viime aikoina se on ollut joko Oreja de Van Goghia tai joululauluja) ja seuraksi joko hyvä kirja, kasa kirjoitettavia postikortteja tai vastattava kirje.
5. Mistä haaveilet?
Pohjimmiltaan terveestä ja hyvästä elämästä. Suurilentoisemmin omasta pihasta marjapuskineen, oman alan kokopäivätöistä ja järkevästä säilytysratkaisusta lähes 5000 postikortilleni...
6. Miksi aloitit blogisi?
Aloin kirjoittaa blogia vuonna 2003, enkä ole osannut päästää siitä maailmasta sittemmin irti. Vuosien varrella minulla on ollut monenlaisia blogiviritelmiä, ja ajatus postiblogista tuntui luonnolliselta - miksipä ei? Pidän siitä, että harrastusblogissa keskiössä ovat asiat, eivät ihmiset (eli kirjoittaja).
7. Paras kommentti, jonka olet saanut blogissasi?
En osaa eritellä - kommentit ovat loppujen lopuksi niin harvassa, että jokaisesta iloitsee suuresti.
8. Paras blogipostauksesi?
Kaikenlaisia helppipostauksia on ollut kiva kirjoittaa (ja toivon, että niistä on ollut myös satunnaisille lukijoille höytyä!). Lisäksi mieleen on jäänyt
postaus venäjän kielen kurssikertaamisen ja postikorttien yhdistämisestä.
9. Onko se myös luetuin postauksesi?
Ei, luetuin on postaus, jossa
esittelin puolalaisen verkkokauppa Postalloven uusimmat Greetings from... -sarjan kortit.
10. Mitä haluaisit blogissasi kehittää?
Valokuvia... niihin en ole täysin tyytyväinen. Varsinkin talvella kuvaaminen on haasteellista, kun päivänvalo tulee ja menee työpäivän aikana. Toisaalta tämän on tarkoitus olla kiva harrastus, joten en halua käyttää ihan tolkuttomasti työtunteja tämän ylläpitämiseen.
11. Millaisia blogeja seuraat?
Laidasta laitaan; seuraamani postiaiheiset blogit löytyvät sivupalkista. Silloin tällöin luen muutamaa lifestyleblogia ja kirjablogia, ja löytyypä satunnaisesti seuratuista pari päiväkirjamaista blogiakin.
