Mail from Spain

During the last week I have been lucky to receive lots of mail from Spain. I've noticed that I feel the special kind of warmth in my heart every time I spot a card or a letter with a Spanish stamp and text on it...

Swapping on Instagram

I had put my Instagram-account for a break - after the first few months of excitement, I somehow lost interest in it. I still am no fan of the "direct message" system, but decided to give it another try. Plus I love getting inspiration on the photos others are posting!

Anyway, I have made some swaps via IG, most of them being already here with me:

Letters, swaps and postcards

I hope your Sunday morning has been as good as mine so far; I woke up around 6 am and couldn't continue sleeping after that... So around 7 am I just decided to get the day started. Now I'm sitting at my desk, accompanied by a big mug of coffee and listening to the sweet sound of the raindrops hitting to our window sill. Could not be a better start for the day!

Even though I'm drinking my not-so-early morning coffee at the moment, I wanted to share a tea swap I made some time ago via Instagram:

I received this super cute swap from the Netherlands about a week ago. Wendy posted in her Instagram some photos of a local shop selling all kind of stationery, and the prices got my attention... So I had to ask whether she'd like to swap with me, as I had been dreaming about such a stamper for ages and the price was really low (3 EUR vs. Finland's 30 EUR....). Luckily she was willing to, so we arranged a little swap.

... And then she had decided to include extra all kind of neat things. Veel dank again, Wendy!

A big pile of letters

Ah, writing letters -  lately I have had the excellent mood for that, and my pile of unanswered letters has shrunken a lot. These were sent approximately two weeks ago, and they should have arrived to their destinations by now.

Oh boys and girls! What a lucky fellow I have been lately, as all this gorgeous mail has been found in our mailbox:

She sent letter sets in a stunning envelope, made out of old map... huh. I know I have maps for the same purpose somewhere in this apartment, but oh well. You know. I should clean my stationary stashes, there's so much stuff that I can't find anything too easily.

It was a great deal of fun to do a tiny candy swap with someone from "the next door"! I have tried maybe 1/3 of these already, and everything tastes very, very good. Yummy.

It was fun to find Tzu-Fang in Instagram, as we have swapped before, too (in the forum). This was another postcard swap, love all the pieces she sent to me. And that "air mail" stamp on the envelope as well...!

We at first agreed about swapping two lollipops, but then it escalated a bit, and even after that Veronika got to surprise me with some extras. This envelope definitely made my day when it arrived (this has been a long, busy and rainy week).

... Look at those Krtek the Mole lollipops she sent! I'm not sure if I can ever really eat them...

Hello there!

Today I have some postcards to share that have brought the smile on my face during the last few days; these include my first Instagram swaps as well!

It's already really cold here; this morning the thermometer showed only +1.8C when I left for the work. Brr. Luckily I have a beanie and warm gloves!
