New Greetings from... cards by Postallove

These cards have been unbelievably popular right from the beginning - I'm talking about the almost-legendary Greetings from... postcards published and designed by the Polish webstore Postallove and its founder and owner, Ewa Słocińska.

The series already include almost 30 different countries, and now the collectors are about to get to enjoy nine countries more: Barbados, Bulgaria, Greece, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Russia, Hungary and Slovenia.

I bet it'll be a great challenge to get especially the Barbados card written and stamped from that country. I'm personally looking forward to the Russia and Hong Kong cards in particular.
The cards should be out around the end of March. Which is your favorite?

Nämä kortit ovat olleet uskomattoman suosittuja heti niiden alkumetreiltä asti... Puhun tietenkin lähes käsitteellisiksi muuttuneista Greetings from...

Mikä on sinun suosikkisi?

The biggest "thank you" to  Ewa Słocińska, who kindly sent me the pictures of the upcoming postcards for this blog post!

Suurkiitokset  Ewa Słocińskalle, joka ystävällisesti lähetti uusien korttien kuvat tätä  blogipostausta varten!

Postallove again

Back in September I wrote about my first order from the Polish webs store Postallove, and as I was really happy with what I got, I decided to re-order some weeks later. This time it took longer for the order to arrive, but that was quite OK, as it was clearly stated on the website when I was placing the order.

I bought some random postcards (coffee, coffee...), priority labels, stickers and washi tapes and wasn't let down with the quality of the items this time either. A great store!

Extra cards for the order; these were nice wrapped like gifts.

Greetings from... series; the Finland cards were the main thing in my order (last time they were sold out, so I needed to act quickly).

Two washitapes; I have used the upper one  A LOT in my Christmas cards and surprises.

Collectables: Polkka Jam

Polkka Jam is a Finnish family business run by a young couple, Kristiina Haapalainen and Sami Vähä-Aho. They have a  wide range of different products, like notebooks, trays, kitchen towels... and, of course, postcards.

I personally ""found"" Polkka Jam about 10 years ago when I visited a tiny shop in Kuopio that selled Polkka Jam products. I wasn't there for those items, though, but they somehow left a mark to my mind. So when I then years later saw some postcards in another store, I recognized the design immediately. I've been a fan since that.

The fabulous thing about Polkka Jam postcards is that they have been printed to recycled paper, so they are not just very good-looking and/or cute, but also somewhat eco-friendly. I love the way colors have been used in these cards, and there are so many fresh, new designs that come into market almost every year. My favorite Polkka Jam cards are definitely the ones with cats and books.

Polkka Jam also has some retailers outside Finland; for example in the Netherlands, Switzerland and the USA.

Here are some cards I already have in my collection:

"Laiskanlinna"

"Hillopurkit"

"Kuppila"
